Who doesn’t love a tripod! This sweet boy has adjusted very well to living with 3 legs, he gets around just fine, loves going for his walks, and will follow his foster mom around on the hardwood floors with no issues. He has successfully navigated the 3 stairs coming up to the front door with no problems, but hasn’t yet attempted the stairs inside the house, which is likely a confidence issue not that he can’t actually do them. Coolio does have some food security issue, so does resource guard the food dish. He came in extremely thin, so food was something he didn’t consistently have. He does get extra excited around people food, but will give up once he realizes he’s not getting any. Coolio has quite easily adjusted to the Alberta weather, and within the first couple days figured out what icy sidewalks look like and how to get around them so he doesn’t slip. One of his favorite things is going for walks, so this is a very handy thing for him to have figured out early. He is reactive to other dogs when out walking, and would love to be able to chase rabbits if given the chance, but since he’s missing one of his back legs, he isn’t able to pull hard so quiet easy to manage. Coolio has been left home alone with free run of the house, and there have been no issues. He is currently living in a foster home with a cat, which he shows little interest in. He has attempted to chase the cat a couple times, but mostly just ignores her. Coolio absolutely just wants to be loved. He lays with his head in his foster mom’s lap, belly in the air, just wanting to be cuddled. This boy has been through a lot, but is absolutely the sweetest boy, and deserves all the love in the world.
