Left Eye (Sky) is the most intelligent and curious dog I have ever come across. I taught her to sit and give her the paw in 30 seconds and she has not forgotten it. She is gentle and sweet but will need a lot of exercise and mental stimulation like treat puzzles or a kong filled with treats if crated during the day.

She is good on leash and is a great dog to accompany a runner, walker or hiker. On the flip side, not an apartment dweller, and although she is crate trained and great in it overnight, I would be sad to know she is crated for more than 4 hours during the day. This girl loves to play and run and has excellent instantaneous recall. Another bonus, she is as quiet as a mouse in her crate for long car rides to the mountains.

She Is not a barker, or a nipper. She is skittish at times but with proper introduction will do well with another dog and possibly a cat. She would probably be good with children because she is so gentle and does not have resource guarding. She probably spent time living as a street dog and can get overwhelmed in chaotic situations with a lot of new people or dogs, but she is improving every day. She just wants to please and is highly treat motivated. I see her as doing great in any training class once she gets to know her new owners. Lucky are the people who adopt this lovely, sporty girl.
