Fuzzy Peach is-The worlds “best friend” dog, she loves her foster people, meeting new people and dog friends, and is a professional leaf chaser.
She is the perfect blend of happy silly puppy, with attentive intelligence. She is potty trained, crate trained (not even a peep of displeasure, she loves her crate), sleeps through the night, has never soiled her crate, she LOVES sticks, chewing bones and her stuffies, she’s mastered the peanut butter kong, and has learnt that frozen carrots are one of her favourite pass times-soothing those puppy teeth.
Sitting in quiet observation, calmly overlooking the goings on of the neighbourhood, while perched on her sun deck. She likes to quietly, watch what is going on around her, then lay in the sun and have a puppy nap while her foster family reads books beside her.
Sit, come, stay, are all down pat! Not even going to brag, (but I will have to brag just a little…) she mastered these 3 commands within the first 3 hours she was home! She’s a smart cookie!! And sits pretty, patiently waiting for her treats during her obedience training.
She loves the sound of keys and her leash rattling, knowing she’s going for a walk or car ride to a special walk, walks truly are her favourite, of course, because that’s where all the new special leaves and sticks are found! She sits so patiently waiting while her foster family finishes getting their shoes on, you will find her sitting quietly like such a good girl at the door waiting for her walk.
Fuzzy peach has the absolute softest fur, perfectly matching her sweet little eyes.
She adores kids, has met a cat at Christmas dinner, and was very polite during the meeting, she tip toed quietly beside the cat assimilating the cats slow walk, (a vision I will never forget and will often chuckle over-epically cute.)
She loves water, baths, being brushed, and isn’t even fazed with her toe nails being trimmed, or her ears cleaned! Will affectionately preen you, or comically thump her foot on the floor while you scratch those special itchy spots on her tummy.
She has enjoyed all encounters in life that she’s experienced with her foster family, even leads the families way out of the bush during snowy winter walks, recognizing the way back by scent! She enjoys new experiences, and will fit into any home with ease. We have yet to find anything that she doesn’t like. She recognizes routines easily, and loves learning.
Over 20 years of raising dogs, I find that Fuzzy Peach is one of the most intelligent dogs thus far. She approaches life confidently and has the highest ability to melt the hearts of everyone she meets.
