Meet Ice Spice (aka Rosie), a sweet, well-mannered, cuddly, and playful pup who’s ready to steal your heart. Rosie is the perfect blend of affectionate and easygoing, making her a joy to be around.

From the moment she arrived, Rosie has been impressing everyone with her leash manners. She walks beautifully and loves meeting new people and dogs along the way. At just 12 lbs, she’s the perfect size to take everywhere, and she’ll happily tag along on any adventure. And when it’s time to head back home? Rosie knows exactly how to relax. She’s fully crate-trained and will curl up quietly, sleeping through the night without a peep or needing a potty break.

Rosie’s affectionate nature is impossible to resist. She loves giving kisses—though she may need a little guidance if you’re not a fan of overly enthusiastic smooches—and she’ll gently paw at you for pets or to be picked up. Her favorite spot in the world is curled up on someone’s lap, but she’s just as content lounging in her crate or on a comfy dog bed.

When left alone, Rosie is a perfect angel. She hasn’t been destructive or gotten into anything she shouldn’t. And when you return, you’ll be greeted with her signature happy dance, complete with butt wiggles and playful bows that are sure to brighten your day.

Although she doesn’t seem to have formal obedience training, Rosie is a well-behaved houseguest. She’s treat-motivated and eager to learn, which makes training a breeze. She’s had a couple of accidents since she arrived, but she’s about 90% pee-pad trained and improving every day.

Rosie is also a dream to care for. She’s perfectly fine with having her paws, ears, and teeth handled, making bath time, nail trims, and getting dressed for chilly weather super easy. Vet visits should be a breeze, too!

Despite being a Chihuahua/Dachshund mix, Rosie is surprisingly quiet. She’s only barked a couple of times since arriving and doesn’t join in when other dogs start their chorus. Her calm, quiet nature and small size make her an excellent fit for condo living.

Rosie hasn’t been around cats or children yet, but based on her sweet and friendly personality, she’d likely do well with either. That said, she might be more comfortable with older, calm children, as sudden movements and loud noises can startle her.

She’s also a great little traveler. Pop her in a crate for car rides, and she’ll settle in quietly for the entire journey.

Rosie is the whole package—playful, cuddly, well-mannered, and affectionate. She’s a balanced, happy little dog who will make an amazing addition to almost any family. If you’re ready for a lifetime of belly rubs, happy dances, and unconditional love, Rosie might just be your perfect match.
