Coleman is a handsome, easygoing, all-star pup who is ready to find his forever home! He has the perfect mix of fun, puppy playfulness, and the ability to settle down for a good nap. His personality is a little timid and cautious in new situations, both when meeting new dogs and people. However, it doesn’t take him long to warm up once he knows there’s nothing to be afraid of.

Coleman has integrated seamlessly into a home with two adult dogs and is very good at respecting boundaries. He is nearly house-trained and will consistently do his business outside when given the opportunity. He also asks to go out by standing at the door or pawing at it. When his foster mom is out, he is kept in a crate and settles in with little protest, so long as he’s had a good play session or a short walk beforehand.

For a puppy, Cole has really stayed out of trouble and doesn’t seem to chew on things he shouldn’t. He has met small children and done well. However, since he is a pup, he can get a little bitey when very excited, so he should be monitored around small hands—as all dogs should! For a young puppy, he is quite calm, and it’s unlikely he will be very high-energy as an adult.

While Cole is still learning the basics of obedience, he is already well on his way to becoming a great family companion.
