Vera is an English Bulldog with a heart of gold and the softest, butter-like fur—perfect for endless pets (which she absolutely loves!). She is the most gentle dog you’ll ever meet—never aggressive, never growls, and in the 10 days we’ve had her, we’ve only heard her bark once!
She’s fantastic with our school-aged kids and has shown no aggression toward other dogs. While she hasn’t had many dog interactions yet, her calm and friendly nature suggests she’d do well with proper introductions.
Vera’s ideal day consists of eating, napping, and soaking up all the love she can get. She’s a laid-back girl who enjoys short walks and has excellent house manners. Fully crate trained, she settles in comfortably at night and sleeps peacefully until morning.
It seems she’s lived in a home before, as she already knows the "sit" command! She’s also very treat-motivated and would likely enjoy learning other basic commands with positive reinforcement.
The only thing Vera is still mastering is her confidence with going down stairs—she’s perfectly fine going up! A home with minimal steps would be the best fit for her.
