Alfonz is an elderly gentleman that is declining in the shelter. Sometimes he will greet the kennel door with his tail wagging and whole body wiggling, and sometimes he will growl. Once he is out of the kennel he is a total ham and has his whole walk planned out- if his handler veers off course, he will plant himself until the right direction is chosen. He loves to sniff and explore, and is a total zoomer in the play yard. Alfonz is a character and could really use a break from shelter life while he awaits his retirement home.

This dog has just arrived in care and is currently unavailable for adoption. It will go into foster care for 1 week so we can get to know their personalities better. After the first week, we will post their adoption biographies and review adoption applications or announce that the foster provider has adopted them. At that time, if you would like to be considered in the event they are accepting applications, please fill out an adoption application.
