Meet Gabbana! We call him Gabe.

Little Gabe has a huge personality. He is one of the happiest pups I’ve ever had! He loves to be with you and soak up lots of love. It’s pretty funny how he follows you around the house—he curls his body, wags his tail, and somehow always stays in front of you.

Gabe has never been destructive in the house. He has free run of the home when I’m away, and even when I’ve left for a full workday, he has been a perfect gentleman. When I return, he greets me with his curly body shake and his wonderful smile. Did I mention that when he gets excited, he actually smiles at you? Such a little sweetie! He doesn’t bark when I leave or when I come home.

We’ve gone on car rides, and he is very good in the car. He gets excited at first but calms down quickly. I don’t kennel him in the car or the house, though he has access to a kennel and sometimes enjoys a little nap in there.

Gabe is not bothered by cats. He sees them when he’s running in the yard and doesn’t seem to care too much about them. I’m sure he would be fine with cats in the house.

Gabe would love another brother or sister to hang out with. He got along with my Chihuahuas right from the start—no aggression at all. He isn’t very food-motivated. He likes his treats and food but doesn’t mind if someone else wants it more. He’s always happy to share because he knows I’ll give him another one. My dogs are little pigs, so I do give Gabe his own space to eat. He likes to take his time and make sure it’s okay to eat. He’s still a bit unsure about eating with people around, but I’m sure this will change as he starts to feel safe.

Gabe enjoys walks and loves to explore, though sometimes he prefers to keep moving rather than stop and meet other dogs along the way.

We are working on his house training. He knows what he’s supposed to do outside but gets distracted easily and forgets to do his business.

Gabe loves his morning routine of waking up my son for school. He jumps right into bed with him and wakes him up. He has been great with my son from day one and would be good with kids of all ages.

Gabe isn’t much of a barker. He has barked a few times, but overall, he’s pretty quiet. He does have a little whine—just to let you know he’s there and ready for more attention!

Gabe can be a bit shy. He craves attention and love but is still learning to trust completely.

He absolutely loves his new bed with the built-in blanket! If you lift the blanket, he darts right in and gets comfy, curling up so small you hardly even know he’s in there. He sleeps through the whole night with no issues.

Little Gabe would make a wonderful addition to any family!
