Meet Carhartt! He is a 1-year-old Chihuahua/Dachshund mix who plays hard and cuddles even harder. A big goofball with lots of personality, he loves being outside and playing fetch with his ball. He is great on a leash and enjoys long walks!
Carhartt has mastered "drop it" (during fetch) and "spin," and we're working on learning more commands. He loves going on car adventures and taking in all the new smells. He is still building confidence and getting comfortable spending time alone but is making progress every day!
This little guy has the classic Chiweenie demeanor—he loves getting all the love and attention from his people. He gets really excited when he sees other dogs or smaller animals like bunnies and squirrels and will eagerly say hello. He is fully housetrained and even lets us know when he needs to go outside.
Carhartt has not been tested with cats or children, so slow introductions would be helpful.
He is looking for an active family that loves lots and lots of cuddles and kisses!
