Baby is the sweetest girl. She's happy, gentle, and easygoing. Her energy levels are medium-ish. She’d be happy to go on long walks, but she’d also be content lying in the sun or relaxing on her bed. She is on the quieter side of friendly — she will greet people and say hi, but she doesn't get overly excited. If things are too busy for her liking, she’ll find a quiet spot to hang out.

She loves our other foster dog and engages in play with no signs of aggression. She is happy to leave the resident cat alone — without so much as a sniff in his direction (he appreciates this). She is great with kids, respectful of our baby’s space, and loves to convince our 6-year-old to give her attention.

Her favorite activities include: attempting to play fetch (she tracks down a stuffy and gets so excited when it’s thrown for her, but then runs right past it to move on to the next thing), headbutting her foster dog sister to initiate playtime, and getting belly scratches.

Her least favorite activity:
Jumping onto furniture. I'm pretty sure she’s capable — she just isn’t interested. She’s been with us for almost two weeks, and I’ve never seen her on the couches or beds.

Baby has big feelings about a few things on our walks, but we’re working on it. She currently has beef with a few street signs we pass daily, cars that go by, and birds. She will bark to express her displeasure, but quickly moves on and forgets about the issue. Other than that, she walks well on a leash and can easily be handled by anyone.

She’ll let you know when she needs to go outside, and if you don’t catch the hint, she’ll whine to get your attention. She does well on car rides, sitting or lying down with no fuss. Her crate isn’t her favorite place to go, but if you can convince her to get in, she’s calm and can be left there for hours or overnight without whining or anxiety.

There are no behavioral issues or concerns at all — she has settled in very well and made herself right at home.

Baby is a wonderful dog and would be a fantastic addition to any household. She really is so sweet, loving, and gentle.
