This sweet, energetic little Pug-Chi (Chi-Pug?) is totally adorable. She loves people, tennis balls and to play fetch equally. If she can find a person to throw a small (regular size are a bit hard to carry) tennis ball, she is in heaven. If said tennis ball squeaks, well that's the cherry on top. She is a bundle of energy and generally outlasts me. Thank goodness for Chuck-it's. If no one is available to throw a ball for her, she also enjoys squeaky or crinkly stuffies. She will throw toys around for herself.
She gets along with other dogs and will occasionally play with them but prefers to play with people and/or toys. I have been told that she also previously lived with a cat. She has not been with children to my knowledge.
When she is not playing, she likes to cuddle, snuggle on a warm lap and some times gives kisses.
She walks well on leash but did NOT like the recent cold, rainy weather we had. She is house trained however had accidents when it was cold & wet out. I did put a jacket on her but don't know if she has ever had any sort of clothing on her in the past so perhaps was unsure about it. Given that she is a smart little girl (learned 'sit' in a couple of days, is doing well with 'stay'), we are working on pee'ing on command so that this doesn't happen in future. She is doing very well in learning this. She is very treat/ food motivated which makes training all that easier. She does prefer to 'go' in the yard rather than on walks so a yard would be preferable.
I have left her for 3-4 hours in the house and she has 're-located' some shoes, slippers, socks but has not chewed on anything other than dog toys, dog treats, etc.
She sleeps well in her crate all night. Sometimes after I have gotten ready to go to bed, I will go look for her to put in her crate and she is already there.
She is not overly 'barky'. She barks infrequently and usually it is after the resident dog starts barking at something first.
She is a great little girl who needs a personal ball thrower and warm lap to snuggle.
