🐾 Meet Toby (aka Tartar) – The Smart, Sweet, and Splash-Loving Pup! 🐾
Tartar, affectionately nicknamed Toby, is a 4.5-month-old Shepherd mix with a gentle heart, a playful spirit, and an endless zest for life. He’s smart, affectionate, and curious about everything the world has to offer.
Toby has blossomed in his foster home. He’s is fully with potty trained, listens very well, has excellent recall, and already knows how to sit. He’s very food motivated (loves all treats!) which makes training fun and rewarding.
This sweet boy sleeps like a champ in his crate at night and will happily trot over when it’s time for bed. He’s also a dream car passenger—Toby loves car rides and will eagerly hop in for an adventure.
An outdoorsy pup at heart, Toby enjoys long walks and walks beautifully on leash, trotting alongside his people. He’s also a big fan of water—splashing in his puppy pool is one of his favorite pastimes!
Toby gets along wonderfully with other dogs, enjoys the company of children, and is gentle with cats (though the cats are still deciding how they feel about him). He’s calm for a puppy, easily redirected, and happy to entertain himself with toys—or just relax and watch the world go by from the porch.
Toby is goofy, bright, and loves nothing more than snuggling as close as you’ll let him. He’s eager to learn and ready to bring joy, adventure, and endless love to his forever family.
