Looking for a bright, beautiful best friend? Meet Cashew - a 5-month-old bundle of love and brains! She’s not just adorable — she’s impressively smart. This clever girl can already do puzzles, and she’s learning her manners like a pro — she knows how to sit and wait like a polite little lady (especially if treats are involved — she’s very food motivated!).
She’s still working on her potty training — she goes outside when taken, but hasn’t quite figured out how to tell you she needs to go yet. With her quick mind and eagerness to please, she’s learning fast!
Casha loves her chew toys and will happily gnaw on them for hours — though she’s still learning what’s a toy and what’s not, so keeping an eye on her and giving her plenty of approved things to chew helps her stay out of mischief. She’s curious about everything and will try to taste-test the world if given the chance!
Cashew is currently in a foster home and doing fantastic with the other dog and is great on a leash.
At night, Casha would much rather snooze on a soft, cozy bed than in her crate. She sleeps belly-up, dreaming of adventures and belly rubs. During the day, she’s playful, curious, and always ready to learn new tricks or explore with her people.
She’ll thrive with a family who loves to engage her mind, provide structure and chew toys, and shower her with affection.
