Saffron has been in the shelter for more than 120 days
Saffron is an adorable mid-sized nugget who desperately needs a trusty human sidekick to get him out of the shelter!

Saffron is 8 years old and 44 lbs. This poor guy has been at the shelter since coming in as an owner surrender on 7/14/20.

Saffron has been quite nervous and reactive in the kennel at the shelter. Volunteers and staff have continued to work with him, and been happy to see him loosen up and let his true self begin to shine through.️

He’s enjoyed playful times running around in the yard with his human pals, and he’s also made it known that he likes treats! Saffron is seeking an experienced handler who can give him the time, patience, and decompression he needs to enjoy life.

He should likely go to a home without small kids. Saffron seems to enjoy exercise, and could be a good workout buddy for someone who is seeking motivation and company on their walks and hikes.

Saffron will be arriving from California on January 29.
