Meet Jessie James, the softest outlaw this side of the dog park. After busting out of the worst kind of jail — a testing facility — Jessie’s riding into freedom with a wagging tail and a heart full of hope.

Jessie’s sweet with other dogs, but we’re unsure about kids and cats, but odds are pretty good he’ll charm them too. Despite the terrible treatment he endured, he is still loving and gentle.

He’s learning the ropes of house training — so patience is key. He doesn’t bark unless he’s playing, but he’s got a cowboy’s instinct to bolt through open doors, so keep your saloon gates shut!

He’s loyal, gentle, and finally free — he just needs a place to hang his hat and retire from the outlaw life. The ideal home will be patient and dedicated to helping him just be a dog after years of being mistreated. But give him love, and he’ll give you a lifetime of tenderness and companionship.
