Meet Snipe – Your New Cuddle Buddy!
Snipe is a lovable little guy with a big personality and even bigger energy! Weighing in at just 10 lbs, he’s a compact bundle of fun who has settled into his foster home like a champ.
Snipe is house trained and lets you know when it’s time to head outside. He loves his walks and gets very excited to start them — he pulls a bit at first (he's just eager!), but settles down once he's had a chance to burn off some steam. With a bit more leash training, he'll be an even better walking companion. On walks, he can be reactive, especially toward larger dogs, but he calms down with gentle redirection and reassurance.
Snipe enjoys being outdoors and would thrive in a home with a secure yard where he can explore safely. He’s very fast and curious, so it's important that fences have no gaps — he’s a bit of a tiny escape artist!
He gets along well with smaller dogs and is excellent with people and kids. He hasn't been tested with larger dogs or cats, so slow introductions would be needed. While Snipe does jump up to greet people, it's more enthusiastic than overwhelming due to his small size — a little training will help with this habit.
At night, Snipe sleeps quietly in his crate, though he’s quick to let you know when he's ready to get up in the morning. During the day, he prefers the comfort of a cozy dog bed and is more relaxed when he’s not crated.
He listens well to basic commands like “stay” and has good recall in a fenced yard. Most of all, Snipe just wants to be around his people. He’s affectionate, spirited, and ready to bring joy and energy to his forever home.
