Hi there - my name is Igor! I’m a handsome young German Shorthaired Pointer mix with a big heart and an even bigger love for life. If you’re looking for a loyal, energetic, adventure buddy who also knows how to relax and love his people, I just might be your guy.
I’m an active, playful dog who loves being part of the action: running, hiking, playing, or joining you for any outdoor adventure. I have a lot of energy and curiosity, so I’d thrive in a home that can keep up with my active lifestyle. When the day’s excitement is over, I’m all about cuddles and cozy naps with my humans.
I’m happiest when I’m moving, exploring, or playing with my favorite toys, and if there’s food involved, even better! I’m incredibly food-motivated, which makes training a breeze and keeps me eager to learn new things. I love going for walks, sniffing everything along the way, and playing with other dogs. I’m a social, goofy guy who just wants to be part of whatever’s going on. Sitting still for too long isn’t really my thing, but once I’ve had my exercise, I’m the perfect snuggle buddy.
I’m great with other dogs and friendly with people of all ages. I haven’t met any cats yet, so we’re not sure how I’d do with them. With proper introductions and guidance, I think I could learn to coexist with most pets.
I do best when I can be part of daily family life. I like to know where my people are, and while I can relax on my own, I’d prefer not to be left alone for long stretches because I just love companionship too much. A family with another friendly dog or someone who is home often would be ideal for me.
