Meet Rainbow Dash 🌈🐶
Rainbow Dash has settled in beautifully, and her personality is really starting to shine. She is affectionate, playful, and loves being part of a routine. At the end of a busy day, she is happy to relax and snooze beside you while you watch TV. 💕
House training is going very well, with only one accident so far. She is learning household boundaries like staying out of the kitchen and off the sofas. This is still a work in progress, but she is catching on quickly. She sleeps well at night and has adjusted nicely to daily walks, playtime, and rest.
💖 Personality & Behavior
Rainbow Dash loves people and has started greeting walk time with face and hair kisses as boots go on. She is food-motivated, which is helping a lot with her training. Sit, down, and touch are still in progress, but she fully understands what the whistle means and responds reliably.
She is affectionate but does show signs of prior neglect or abuse. She can flinch if a hand reaches directly for her head. Introducing a hand near her nose first and then petting her head has been very successful, and she continues to gain confidence every day. 🫶
On walks, she is very alert and focused on her surroundings like people and birds. She has shown some reactivity toward smaller dogs. Now that this is understood, her attention is redirected early using positive reinforcement, and her interactions with unfamiliar dogs are being limited for now.

Dogs: Doing very well with our older dog Benji. Some reactivity toward smaller dogs has been observed, so interactions are currently limited and managed carefully.
Children: No children in the home. When passing school-aged children on walks, she appears curious and friendly.
Cats: Not tested.

Rainbow Dash would thrive in an active home with a good backyard where she can burn off energy and play. Based on her size, speed, and quick learning, we feel she would excel at agility training. A home that can offer regular play, interaction, and gentle guidance will help her flourish. 🌟

Boots and slippers are fair game and will be claimed, but not chewed, just proudly relocated
Gentle when taking food by hand, though consistency helps keep this habit strong
Enjoys being brushed and is continuing to work on comfort with foot handling and nail care
