Aurora is a lively, joyful, and energetic Husky girl. True to her breed, she’s playful, mischievous, curious, vocal, and needs lots of physical activity. She loves to run, jump, explore, and enjoy her freedom. She’s also incredibly affectionate—she adores hugs, kisses, and being close to her human. She’s the perfect match for an active family who can give her the time, space, and love she craves.

Aurora was found running scared along the Tenango–Toluca highway, trying to escape a group of male dogs chasing her because she was in heat. The threat was clear: abuse, unwanted litters, and a life of suffering on the streets. Sadly, this is the cruel reality many unspayed female dogs face—pregnancy after pregnancy until their bodies give out, and their puppies condemned to the same fate.
Aurora was rescued just in time.
Her story could have been yet another tragic cycle. As a Husky, one of the most commonly abandoned breeds in Mexico, she was at high risk of being exploited for breeding. It’s likely she was thrown out by someone who lost patience with her high energy, vocal personality, and playful nature—traits that are completely normal for her breed.
But not anymore.
Aurora is now safe. She’s spayed, vaccinated, and dewormed. She’s left behind the danger and loneliness and is ready for a new life—a life full of dignity, joy, and family.
