Meet Canela (aka Ella) – The Sunshine Pup with a Heart of Gold
Canela is a two-year-old Terrier mix with the sweetest spirit and a love for life’s simple joys. She’s gentle, affectionate, and has never met a belly rub she didn’t love! Her tail wags the moment you look her way, and she’s always ready to make new friends - both human and canine alike.
Canela loves the great outdoors, especially when she has a yard to roam and plenty of smells to investigate. She enjoys peaceful walks on quiet paths, where she can take her time and sniff every interesting scent along the way. Loud streets and busy traffic aren’t really her vibe - she’s more of a “slow down and smell the roses” kind of girl.
Canela is also wonderfully social! She gets along beautifully with other dogs (after proper introductions) and adores meeting new people. If you sit down, she’ll be right there beside you, politely suggesting that a belly rub might be in order.
Now, you might notice her golden fur and think, “Probably part Retriever - she must love fetch!” Well, let’s just say Canela has redefined the game. She’s happy to watch you throw the ball… but chasing it? That’s a hard pass. Why run when you could roll in the grass instead?
