Meet Grizz- the perfect combination of chill and adventurous! If you’re looking for a pooch that is perfectly content to cuddle up with you and have a marathon movie night, but also more than happy to go on a strenuous hike in the blink of an eye…. than Grizz is your boy!
Grizz is fully house and crate trained, he also knows sit, stay, and lay down. Grizz is a very quiet boy, his foster mom has only heard him bark once which is great because they live in a condo with neighbours.
Grizz’s energy level is medium so he’d be happy in a home of any size. While at home you’re most likely to find Grizz napping, looking out the window, or by your side watching whatever it is that you’re doing.
Grizz loves his walks and is working on his leash manners. Grizz gets very excited when he sees other dogs while on a walk, he wants to play and he will pull to let you know. For that reason it is recommended that an adult or someone with experience and strong arms be in charge while on walks with Grizz. Grizz is very treat motivated, so with a little work and lots of treats he has the potential to be a great walker while on leash.
Grizz does best when he’s slowly introduced to new dogs, he tends to mirror their personality and energy level. He can get a bit overwhelmed initially with very energetic dogs, especially if they are barking or jumping. One thing’s for sure, Grizz is not a big fan of male dogs that are intact.
Grizz hasn’t met cats or children yet so it is unknown at the moment what his behaviour is like around them.
Grizz is a VERY affectionate boy that loves to be around his humans, he will quickly become your shadow. Car rides and patios with his human are at the top of his list of things to do!
Any love you give Grizz, he’ll give you back tenfold. Grizz is as loyal as they come and he can’t wait to have a family to call his own.
