Twiggy is a beautiful 45 lb (on the smaller side) Shepherd mix who has truly blossomed over the past few months. She’s adaptable, eager to learn, and loves to please her people - especially when treats are involved!
At her core, Twiggy is simply a lovely girl who bonds deeply and thrives in a home where she can be part of everyday life.
💛 Personality & Lifestyle
· Bonds closely with her people and loves being near you
· Enjoys cuddling on the couch just as much as playtime
· Loves walks, toys (especially stuffies and balls), and car rides
· Calm and trustworthy when left free roaming at home
· Not a picky eater - she happily enjoys all her meals
· Has a great “security system” instinct - she’ll alert you if someone passes by
🎓 Training & Skills
Twiggy is a smart, motivated learner who has already built a strong foundation:
· Fully house trained
· Knows sit, stay, place, and leave it
· Crate trained (sleeps in a kennel if you prefer) but also happy to sleep on the bed
· Patient and polite - will sit nicely for treats alongside her doggy companion
· Comfortable with handling (like having her paws wiped after coming inside)
She has also made great progress with leash training while working with a trainer:
· Walks nicely overall
· Still working through some excitement when spotting rabbits
· Reactivity toward other dogs has improved significantly and continues to get better
🐕 Social Life
· Currently lives with another dog and does very well
· Coexists peacefully (not overly playful, but respectful and calm together)
· Would also be perfectly happy as the only dog in the home
