Twiggy is a beautiful 45 Lbs Shepard cross (medium energy). All interactions with people have been great!
She adores her person and happily greets all visitor with tail wags and enthusiasm.
She hasn't played with my resident dog yet though Dori has tried to encourage her. I am not sure if she is not interested or doesn't get it yet but they live cohesively (as long as no food or toys are left out).
Potty training - no accident. Excellent in this area
Kennel trained - not a fan but very little fuss
Barking - only to alert to something outside. Great alert/guard dog
Cats and Kids - unknown
Leash - working on it. very trainable. some pulling but wants to please so listens with correction (without treats)
Behavior issues - Resource guarding of food and toys with my dog ( not an issue with me). She listens to correction
but will need ongoing training for this.
Eating - eats everything quickly. not fussy. I use a slow feeder bowl.
Commands - working on sit, stay. come, leave it
Twiggy has been a pleasure to foster and bonds deeply to her people. Her medium energy and desire to cuddle up on her bed after a long morning walk would allow someone working from home to have a great companion while still
getting work done.
