BackAlmendra
Adopted
Description
Female, 8 months, mixed breed, 22 lbs
Almendra is a high energy, young pup who was rescued December 24th with her mom. They were underneath an abandoned vehicle in a wasteland, she was infested with fleas and ticks, she had a stomach and eye infection and she spent more than a week in medical care because of her infections. She is a bit shy and needs time in order to feel comfortable to get near people. She is a very caring dog once you gain her trust by giving her treats. She likes ham, bacon and dog treats. She really likes to play with dog toys and plastic bottles. She also likes to play fetch. Almendra is a very cute, loving, playful dog. She is well behaved and obedient. The ideal family for her is a family with other dogs, a medium to high activity family. It is recommended she gets frequent exercise.
Once the dog arrives in care, they will go into foster care for 1 week so we can get to know their personalities better. After the first week, we will post their adoption biographies and review adoption applications or announce that the foster provider has adopted them.
At that time, if you would like to be considered in the event they are accepting applications, please fill out an adoption application.
This dog will be arriving from California on approximately February 15.
