This beautiful, loyal, and silly girl has so much personality and is a huge love bug.
She is extremely intelligent and learned how to sit, go in her crate, where the kitchen boundary is, and is learning many more tricks just within her first week with her fosters.
She is great to walk and a social butterfly at heart. She will check in during her walks and ask for pets. She loves every single person she meets and has not met a dog she doesn’t like.
She understands the social signals of other dogs and is always up for playtime.
She is a medium-energy dog who loves to play fetch and go for walks. She is extremely gentle and loves to give kisses. Sarah would do great in a home with older kids, as she likes to jump, as well as with another dog companion. She would also do well as a single dog, as she is independent.
She has not demonstrated any food or toy aggression and IS NOT A FOOD THIEF 😉
She will patiently wait for you to finish eating before chowing down on her own dinner.
She does not demonstrate any separation anxiety and will wait patiently for you in her crate.
Aside from an initial first-day accident, Sarah knows outside is the place to do her business.
Sarah is extremely gentle and will softly hop up with her front paws on your lap when she wants some pets. She is a dream in her crate and goes in willingly, or with a small food bribe. You won’t hear a peep from this lovely lady, as she knows her crate is a calm and safe place.
Being a California girlie, she took to the snow fairly well and has become a snow and ice connoisseur.
Sarah is currently working on calming down in the car, as she can get a little anxious—not whiny or scared, just trying to take in the whole new experience. She is a young puppy experiencing many new things and is doing amazingly well. She would benefit from patient new owners who will help build even more confidence in her.
Fun fact: when getting ready for a walk, Sarah starts acting like a cat and rubs against your leg in excitement—just when you thought this beautiful girl couldn’t get any cuter.
Sarah is ready to fill your home with endless tail wags, love, kisses, and hugs.
