🐶 Meet Tre 💙
Tre has been through more than any dog ever should - especially at such a young age. But if you look into his eyes, what you’ll see isn’t his past… it’s hope. ✨ This is just the beginning of Tre’s new life, and he’s more than ready to bring you along for the ride.
Rescued alongside his brother from heartbreaking conditions, Tre is now healing from a severe case of sarcoptic mange, a secondary skin infection, colitis, worms, weight loss, and hair loss. And yet - somehow - his spirit never left him. 💪🐾 The spark is still there and grows stronger every day, a true testament to his resilience and courage.
Tre even carries a small reminder of his past: a pellet lodged in his hind leg. It doesn’t slow him down or bother him at all -his focus is entirely on what’s ahead. ❤️
Tre is potty trained and excellent at letting you know when he needs to go outside. He’s kennel trained too, though he prefers it as a backup option. He tolerated the groomer like a champ ✂️ and is comfortable being handled by both his foster mom and the vet — a big win considering how sensitive his skin still is.
He’s an amazing car companion 🚗, happily adventuring wherever you need him. Tre knows many commands, including sit, potty, kennel, “let me help,” and treat, and he rocks his jammies while his skin heals - protective and stylish. 😍
As he continues to recover, his playful puppy personality is starting to shine through: sweet, curious, and just the right amount of mischievous.
Tre settles into routines easily (especially when treats are involved 🍪) and does well with other dogs. Given his past, slow introductions are important — with both dogs and humans - but he’s coming out of his shell beautifully and learning to trust. Tre will need grace, patience, and love as he fully settles into a life of safety and happiness.
Tre is looking for a life so full of love, comfort, and joy that his past becomes a distant memory. Soft beds, gentle hands, laughter, and a forever family — he’s ready for it all 💕
