Some dogs are born to be couch potatoes. Tre was apparently born with a tiny backpack and a questionable amount of enthusiasm for adventure. š¾ Meet Tre! Your future hiking buddy, road-trip copilot, patio companion, and all-around partner in crime.
Tre is happiest when heās doing things with his people. Hiking a new trail? Absolutely. Exploring somewhere heās never been? Sign him up. Road-tripping to a hidden lake? Heās already waiting by the door. Grabbing a coffee on a patio? Heāll happily supervise. Spending the day with friends? Even better -as long as he gets to come too.
And while Tre is perfectly happy to spend the evening relaxing after a day of adventures, he really does need an active home. Heās not looking for someone whose idea of exercise is walking to the fridge (although he would probably be willing to participate). Someone who loves hiking, exploring, getting outside, and having a four-legged sidekick along for the ride would be an especially fantastic match for him.
The best part? For a dog who wants to be included in everything, Tre is surprisingly easy to live with. Heās fully potty trained, lets you know when he needs to go outside, is kennel trained (though he would like to respectfully appeal that decision), and rides beautifully in the car. He knows several commands including sit, kennel, potty, let me help, and, perhaps the most important one, treat.
Heās also an exceptionally good houseguest. Tre isnāt the type to spend his days redecorating your home, demanding constant entertainment, or filing noise complaints against the neighbours. Give him some exercise, some affection, and a place to curl up, and heās perfectly happy to settle in and hang out with you.
Tre also loves other dogs, especially the ladies. Girl dogs are definitely his favourite (the boy has excellent taste! but he gets along well with boys too. Thoughtful introductions are always important, but once Tre decides another dog is a friend, heās ready to have a good time.
And despite his adventurous side, Tre isn't shy about people. He likes both men and women, isn't afraid of strangers, and is generally happy to make new friends. His requirements for human companionship are pretty straightforward: Are you nice? Are you fun? Do you go places? And will you let him come?
Tre has left his difficult past where it belongs and is now healthy, thriving, and thoroughly enjoying life. Heās playful, curious, affectionate, handsome, and just a little bit convinced that whatever you're doing would be more fun if he were involved.
