This happy go lucky pup will melt your heart in a matter of seconds. 💕
Optimus Prime (or Olly as he is known at his foster home) is a gentle, loving cuddle-bug. He warms up pretty fast and isn't ashamed to ask for endless bellyrubs.
Few of his favourite things; playing fetch and tug, previously mentioned belly rubs and naps, naps and again naps. He is a nap king and holds that title very proudly. He is his happiest when coming home from a walk; talk about an introvert 🤣 He is so happy to be back home after a walk he will do the happy tippy taps dance with the waggiest tail.
He does not show any toy/ food aggression. He is great at saying quick hellos to other non-reactive dogs. He would do great as a single dog (being the center of attention) or with another dog who is non-reactive and matches Optimus Prime's energy.
Optimus Prime will match the energy of the house but is also very independent; he does a great job at keeping himself entertained with a tennis ball 👌
Aside from a couple of initial accidents; Optimus Prime understands when he needs to do his business outside. He is not the biggest fan of getting into his crate ( needs to be bought with a piece of chicken), but once he is in,he stays quiet and calm the whole night until let out for the morning walk. Once outside; he is great on a leash. Walking confidently and exploring new neighbourhoods.
Optimus Prime loves people and lovessss food! He is an extremely smart pup and already learned a few tricks; sit, stay, paw, other paw and a release command. His fosters are still working on his recall command.
He has not been tested with cats or small children as his foster sister is a teenager. He adores her and loves sneaking into her bed for extra snuggles.
During the day, you will find Optimus Prime lounging on a couch; sun bathing, or snuggled in his bed. He does extremely well in a car, to the point of taking an opportunity to squeeze in a little nap sesh.
Optimus Prime is the perfect combination of loyal, sweet and silly and he can't wait to meet you!
