Polly Pocket (Pols, The Pocket Rocket) is a delightful one-year-old pup who is ready to find her loving furever family. With her tri-colored fur, expressive brown eyes, and outgoing personality, Polly Pocket is sure to win your heart from the moment you meet her.
Polly Pocket is a happy, playful, and affectionate dog who loves being around people. She enjoys belly rubs, chasing toys, a good chew session with a bully stick, and walks where she can explore all the sniffs. Whether it’s a stroll through the park or snuggling on the couch, Polly Pocket is always up for quality time with her humans.
She travels well in the car and settles in quickly for a snooze once the initial excitement of being out with her people wears off.
This smart girl already knows sit and is eager to learn more. She is very treat-motivated and learns quickly. Polly Pocket is crate-trained and sleeps through the night in her crate without complaint, as long as she’s in the same room as you. She also stays in her crate when left alone and has been left for 4–5 hours, settling in and sleeping peacefully until her humans return.
Polly is still learning to communicate when she needs to go outside, but with regular outdoor breaks and positive reinforcement, she is showing steady improvement. She will continue to thrive in a home that can maintain a consistent routine.
She has had a couple of playdates with a much larger neighbour dog and jumped right into play without hesitation. When she sees other dogs on walks or outside the house, she gets very excited and may bark and pull in her eagerness to say hello. Her foster has been working on redirecting her attention, and she is improving each day. She will do well in a home committed to continuing this training.
Polly Pocket would love a fenced yard to explore and regular walks for exercise. She is suitable for singles, couples, or families looking for a loyal companion. She would do best in a home with older children, as her little legs have springs in them and she’s still learning when it’s appropriate to greet politely instead of enthusiastically.
Polly Pocket is a loving, sweet-natured pup who will reward her adopters with endless affection and joy. She would thrive in a home filled with love, playtime, walks, plenty of naps, and gentle guidance.
