💕 Meet Gothita (aka Tessa)
Gothita is a sweet, gentle, loving, and very happy little girl. She absolutely adores her people and doggie friends who will play with her. Right now, she has very sharp puppy teeth, and they can hurt when she bites for fun — she’s still very much a baby learning her manners.
🏡 Training & Routine
Gothita is kennel trained and loves going in her kennel — it’s a positive, safe place for her. She can stay in her kennel if you need to go out. She does cry a little when she wants you, wants to play, or when it’s bedtime, but only for a minute.
She is pee pad trained, as it was too cold to put her outside for a while. On nice days, she has also done her business outside.
We haven’t heard a bark from her yet — she is still very young.
🍖 Food & Learning
This little girl loves her food and treats! We are slowly working on treat training for “sit,” “down,” and other basics. She is eager and learning.
🛋 Personality
Gothita is a wonderful little girl who loves snuggling by your feet or close to you on the couch. She follows you everywhere. When she’s awake, she can be very full of energy and loves to play and chase the other dogs. She enjoys toys and playing pull.
We let her run around the house during the day, and she does very well.
🚗 Car & Leash
Gothita is very good in her kennel in the car; however, she does get car sick. You’ll just need to bring an extra towel along.
She is not good on leash yet — she just needs more practice.
🐶 Other Animals & Kids
Gothita is good with dogs. We’re not sure about cats — she would probably try to play with them.
She would likely do best with a little older children right now, as she is still young and has razor-sharp puppy teeth.
🌟 The Only Things to Note
When she goes outside and hears another dog barking, she gets very scared and wants to come inside right away. We’re not sure if that’s from being at the BARCs Rescue centre and hearing loud dogs barking or not.
She also hides when you vacuum — she doesn’t like the sound.
Gothita could fit into many types of homes, but she is still young and learning. She needs someone who will give her lots of love and patience as she grows.
She truly is an amazing little gal. ❤️
