Meet Guiness
Guiness is a tender-hearted boy who is just beginning to discover how wonderful life can be. Born in a shelter in Mexico, he never knew the comfort of a home or the big world beyond the kennel walls. Now safe in Canada and living in a loving foster home, his personality is finally blossoming.
He’s fallen head over heels for stuffies and watching him play with pure puppy joy is enough to melt anyone’s heart. Inside the home, Guiness has made incredible progress. He greets his foster mom with excitement, gently nudges for affection, and happily rolls over for belly rubs. Outside, the world still feels a little overwhelming, and strangers take time for him to warm up to.
Guiness would thrive in a calm, patient home with a confident dog who can show him the ropes and help burn off some of that puppy energy. He needs adopters who understand that trust takes time. With gentle guidance and consistency, his confidence will continue to grow. Once he knows he’s safe and learns to trust you, he will be your absolute best friend. Because he’s still learning about the world, a home without small children would be the best fit for him right now.
He’s crate trained, settles beautifully at night, and is working hard on his potty training and house manners. With his sweet, gentle nature, he’s not one to get into mischief much (yet). He simply wants to feel safe and loved.
Guiness has already come so far, and with the right family, he’ll continue to blossom into the dog he was always meant to be.
