Scout is a young, intelligent boy with the kindest, most gentle eyes and the sweetest soul. He forms a deep, loyal bond with his person, once you’re his, you’re his in the best way. More than anything, Scout just wants love and affection. He melts into cuddles and loves tummy rubs, happily soaking up every bit of attention. And his adorable floppy curly ears make him completely irresistible.
Scout has a calm, sensitive nature and is happiest when he feels safe and secure with his people. He enjoys relaxing on the couch or quietly following you around the house. He truly is a “love me and I’ll love you forever” kind of dog.
He also has a fun, active side! Scout gets excited when you grab his leash and would make a wonderful walking or jogging partner. He has a beautiful, effortless trot and walks nicely beside you without pulling. He is calm and well-mannered when passing other dogs and rides very well in the car.
In the home, Scout is very well behaved. He is fully house-trained, does not chew or get into things, and can be trusted to relax peacefully. He’s the perfect mix of couch companion and outdoor buddy.
Scout is still adjusting to life in a home and can be a bit sensitive to new or unfamiliar things. He may be unsure around reflections, mirrors, and the TV, and can be a little hesitant around men at first. With patience, gentle guidance, and a calm environment, he continues to build confidence and show his true, loving personality.

He would love daily walks, cozy downtime, and lots of affection. Scout enjoys being near his people and would do best in a home where he can be included as part of the family, while also having his own comfortable space to relax.
