Scout is a young, intelligent boy with the kindest, most gentle eyes and the sweetest soul. He forms a deep, loyal bond with his person, once you’re his, you’re his in the best way. More than anything, Scout just wants love and affection. He melts into cuddles and loves tummy rubs, happily soaking up every bit of attention. And his adorable floppy curly ears make him completely irresistible.
He has a calm, easygoing nature and is wonderfully tolerant with children. Scout is happiest when he’s close to his people, whether that’s relaxing on the couch or quietly following you around the house. He truly is a “love me and I’ll love you forever” kind of dog.
Scout also has a fun, active side! He gets excited when you grab his leash and would make an amazing walking or jogging partner. He has a beautiful, effortless trot and walks right beside you without pulling. He is calm and well-mannered when passing other dogs and rides very well in the car.
In the home, Scout is incredibly well behaved. He is fully house-trained, does not chew or get into things, and can be trusted to relax peacefully. He’s the perfect mix of couch potato and adventure buddy.
Scout is still adjusting to some new experiences in a home environment. He can be slightly unsure around reflections, mirrors, and the TV, but with gentle exposure he is already gaining confidence quickly and continues to improve every day.
