Goldie is a shy but loving girl who is deeply devoted to her person. She might take a little bit to come out of her shell, but once she does; she will become your trusted companion. Because of her nervousness and shy personality, she would do best in a calm home with older kids and no other dogs.
Home life π‘
Her current fosters think of her as a dream dog...literally she considers naps a national sport, which she wins in everyday. She is a low energy, calm pup who is fully house trained, and settles into her crate like a pro. As much as she depends on her people and just adores them, she understands being left on her own is not the end of the world. She settles within seconds in her crate for...yes, you guessed it...another nap; until your return. So much to say she has no separation anxiety, no guarding of her food or her space.
Walks πΆββοΈββ‘οΈ
She does well on her walks; due to her age and size quick 15 min walks (or even less) are all she needs. She can be unsure of the outside world and other dogs; this is where she depends on her person for support and encouragement- with time and patience; she will gain the confidence she needs to take on the world.
Personality πΆ
Goldie is a very calm and respectful lady. She will wait to be invited into a room or on the couch. She understands boundaries until it has to do with belly rubs; then she will pull out all the stops to get some love. She does not bark and is not reactive to the outside. As of now, she showed no interest in any toys, but is always looking for treats- which will make her very easy to train. She is just a huge sweetie , who would love to spend her days napping and being with her people.
