Glitz is a very friendly, outgoing, and confident dog. She loves pets and attention and is not opposed to going up to strangers and asking for them. She always wants to be close to you and snuggle up whenever possible.

She is good with cats and ignores them for the most part. However, she does get jealous when they come to join us on the couch or bed and will sometimes chase them off.

Glitz loves little dogs and is always running around, wrestling with, and cuddling our other Pomeranian. She is okay with big dogs, but she doesn’t like it when they’re pushy and get in her face. She prefers them to leave her alone and will tell them to back off. I do think this is something she can get over, especially if she is living in a home with the dog. I believe they would get used to each other and get along with some time. If the big dog doesn’t really care about her, then she has no issues with them.

We do not have children, so she is untested. I would like to believe that, since she is so outgoing and loves people so much, she would do great with them, but at this time I don’t know that for sure.

She hasn’t really gotten into playing with toys yet. She might nibble on one for a second, but then she’ll just go lay down and have a nap. So far, all of her playfulness has been with our other dog.

She is okay with her potty training, but it’s still a work in progress. It appears that she was pee pad trained in her past life, so she will go to the washroom on mats, rugs, and carpets. She knows that she’s supposed to go outside but just hasn’t fully grasped that she’s not also supposed to go on mats anymore.

She is an energetic dog and loves her walks. She has a lot of energy to burn off and has been getting two walks a day so far and never seems to get tired.

She doesn’t bark, aside from when we try to crate her. She is okay in the crate if she can see you or if you are close by, but if you try to crate her and leave, she barks. We have found that if we leave her in a room alone, she does not bark and is okay to be left alone. She does not bark at the door or at other animals in the house.

She has no issues with being bathed. She stood still while being washed and sat down politely while I blow dried her. She is fine with being brushed but does not like it when you hit a tangle.

She is very food motivated and has no issues eating. She has no problems with people sticking their hands in her food bowl while she is eating but will tell the cats and other dog to back off. That doesn’t stop her from trying to steal food out of their bowls, though.

She is really an ideal dog, and if we were ready to have two dogs, I would be keeping her. I think she would do best in a household with another small dog, but I also think she’d be fine without one. She definitely needs daily walks, but also someone who will hang out on the couch and snuggle with her.

She is a very happy girl with a lot of love to give, and I think anyone who is up for walks and belly rubs would be able to give her a great home.
