Rodeo Queen, or practically perfect Penny as she is known here, is just the sweetest little girl!!  Very friendly and cuddly without being clingy or anxious.  She is great in her crate, sleeping all night quietly, and spending time in it during the day. I have not seen any signs of separation anxiety, but she does have my very stable dog for a friend. Potty training is going very well, but I make sure to let her out very regularly. She still isn’t great about signalling when she needs to go out so you must pay attention. She has been very good with dog savvy cats. My cat will slap her when she gets to playful, but they mostly coexist peacefully. Has been good with cats at other houses we have visited. She has been very good with my older dog who doesn’t want to play and is very respectful. With proper introduction has been good with other dogs we have met. I think she would enjoy a friend to play with. She is a little fussy with food, not the best eater, but there are certain things she seems to like and you will have to figure out what is best. She has been a little nervous in the car, but sits calmly and doesn’t get sick. I think she will get better very quickly. I am not sure about children as I don’t know any. I think she would be OK with the older ones, but might be a little afraid of the really little ones. She loves to spend time outdoors and enjoys sleeping on a bed out in the sun. Would be great to have some outside space. She walks OK on a leash, but, like all dogs, would benefit from obedience classes. She has learned to sit for a treat very quickly. I have been working on trimming her nails and she isn’t too bad but will need a little bit more work. Her coat is soft and doesn’t seem to shed so need grooming and probably trims. I would love to see her in a home where she is not left alone for long periods of time. Where she can be near her people and gets lots of love and cuddles. She is still young and will need some exercise and playtime. She is a wonderful dog and deserves the best home ever.
