PALOMA had an adventure, and here is what the amazing volunteer who took her out had to say about their day!
Meet Paloma 💕
We did an 11 km out and back hike in Little Elbow Provincial Park. I learned quickly that treats are overstimulating and leads to jumping and chaos, lol. With treats tucked away, she walked quite well on her leash, typically walking a bit ahead, occasionally pulling and  consistently checking in with me.

This happy-go-lucky girl is looking for a foster home! Paloma absolutely loves being around people and has a fun, playful personality. She can get excited and occasionally jumps up wanting to play and wrestle, but she responds well with guidance and would thrive with some consistent training and structure.

She was wonderful out on the trails — friendly with other hikers, calm when other dogs passed by, and didn’t bark or cry during the outing. She showed curiosity about the world around her without being reactive, and even ignored birds, squirrels, and wildlife along the way.

Paloma is very food motivated and loves little treasures she finds on her adventures. She also walks with confidence and seems happiest when spending time with her humans.

Overall, Paloma seems like a sweet, social girl with young dog energy who just needs a loving foster home to help her continue learning and growing into an amazing companion. And those beautiful eyes? Even more stunning in person. 🐾
