Meet DC (Roxy)
Roxy is a sweet, gentle girl with the perfect balance of playful energy and calm cuddles. She loves spending time with her people, whether that's going for a nice walk, playing a game of tug-of-war, or curling up beside you for some snuggles. One of her favorite things in the world is her stuffed animals—they're her comfort toys, and you'll often find her carrying one around or cuddling up with it.
Roxy is a social butterfly who loves meeting new people and gets along wonderfully with children and other dogs. She would thrive in a home with a fairly large yard where she has room to run, play, and explore. While she can be energetic when it's playtime, she's just as happy relaxing with her family after a fun day.
She's a smart girl who's still learning! Roxy knows what "outside" and "walk" mean, and she's doing a great job practicing her "sit." With a little patience, consistency, and lots of positive reinforcement, she'll continue to build her confidence and skills.
Because she's a gentle soul, Roxy isn't a fan of very loud noises and would do best in a home where she feels safe and secure. She absolutely loves being around her people, so a family that's away from home for long hours on a regular basis may not be the best fit for her. She would be happiest with a family or individual who can give her plenty of attention, companionship, and love throughout the day.
