🐾 Meet Prairie Wolf 🐾
Prairie Wolf is the definition of calm, gentle, and quietly wonderful. She’s the kind of dog who doesn’t need to be the centre of attention to steal your heart — her sweet nature does that all on its own. ❤️
This lovely girl is fantastic on leash and a dream to walk with. She doesn’t pull and handles herself beautifully out and about. While she’s still very polite on walks, she has started showing more interest in meeting other dogs, which is a fun little glimpse of her social side coming out. She has not shown any dog reactivity and would likely do well with another dog, though she’s currently the only pup in her foster home. We don’t know yet how she is with cats.
Prairie Wolf can be a little slow to warm up to new people, but once she trusts you, she is incredibly loving, loyal, and snuggly. She’s also wonderfully patient and gentle with kids, making her a very special companion for a calm and loving home.
She is fully house trained and has had zero accidents, even during long work days. She’s also now completely comfortable and well behaved in the car, so she’s more than happy to tag along for rides and adventures.
And while she may have the calm soul of a cuddle bug, Prairie Wolf also has a playful side! She loves playing fetch, which, from what we hear, may not be the most stereotypical husky hobby, but she’s fully embracing it anyway. 😄
Prairie Wolf is such a special girl with a calm, loving spirit and a playful spark. She just needs a little patience at first to let her personality shine, but once it does, she is an absolute gem. ✨
