Meet Coydog! 🐾
(Also known as Coy, Shadow, or Stinky Face!)
Coy is a fun-loving, energetic pup with a big personality and an even bigger heart. He loves spending his time playing with his favorite piggy toy and his beloved Lamb Chop, but don't let his energy fool you—a 15–20 minute walk is usually all it takes to wear him out before he's ready for a well-earned loaf on the couch.
Food is one of Coy's greatest loves, followed closely by walkies, splashing around in the water, and relaxing with his people. His biggest dislike? His crate. He'll happily let you know how he feels about bedtime or time-outs with a few barks, and he'll also remind you when it's mealtime!
Coy gets along well with other dogs when introductions are done properly and would do best with a larger canine companion if he's not the only pet. He's also done well with cats and children when introduced appropriately. He's house-trained for the most part, rides well in the car, and has pretty good leash manners.
Like any dog, Coy has a few things his future family should know. He can be food possessive and may be a little pushy around smaller dogs, so thoughtful management and continued guidance are important. Despite his goofy side—he's a lovable doofus through and through—Coy is eager to be part of a family that understands him and can help him continue to thrive.
Coy's ideal home would be one where he can soak up all the love and attention as the only dog, or with a confident, larger canine companion. If you're looking for a loyal, playful, water-loving best friend with a goofy personality and lots of love to give, Coy just might be your perfect match.
