Hi! My name is Bisque... but my favorite little human calls me Bisket. π€π€
I'm a big girl with an even bigger heart... and an even bigger tail wag. If you're looking for a dog who believes she's the perfect lap-sized cuddle buddy, I think we're going to get along just fine.
My absolute favorite place to be is right beside my person. I'm basically Mom's shadow and will happily follow her from room to room, just in case she needs company. In the evenings, you'll usually find me curled up with her in the rocking chair for some quality snuggle time.
I'm a professional kisser, champion cuddler, and expert at making myself comfortable wherever you are.
Stuffed toys? They're my favorite! Unfortunately, they don't usually survive very long. I consider removing every last bit of fluff a personal accomplishment. Balls are also pretty exciting, although I haven't quite figured out how to carry one for very long before dropping it and wondering where it went.
Food is my love language. I'm a dedicated snack enthusiast, and if a certain four-year-old accidentally dumps a bag of treats on the floor... well, let's just say I'm always happy to help with cleanup.
Speaking of little humans, I've been making great progress! I was pretty unsure about kids at first, but I'm slowly warming up to Ella. She's even teaching me how to sit, and I think she's a pretty good trainer, especially when treats are involved. π
I've also discovered that playing with my foster sister, Daisy, can actually be pretty fun! I still appreciate my quiet time, though. When I've had enough excitement, I'll happily tuck myself into my crate for a nap to recharge or escape the puppy chaos.
I'm wonderful in my crate overnight and often choose it on my own when I'm tired. If I'm left alone for too long during the day, I may bark to let you know I'd really prefer your company.
Walks are one of my favorite adventures! I get pretty excited when we first head out and might pull a bit, but with calm, consistent reminders, I settle into a much nicer pace and really enjoy exploring with my person.
My bark is more adorable than intimidating. It's kind of a muted little "woof," which fits my sweet personality perfectly.
I'd likely do best as the only dog in the home or with a calm, respectful canine companion who understands that everyone needs a little personal space sometimes. While I've learned to enjoy Daisy's company, I still prefer dogs who match my easygoing vibe.
