Meet Borscht, quite possibly the happiest boy you’ll ever meet. This joyful, goofy, high‑energy sweetheart is looking for an active forever family who can match his zest for life and give him the exercise and mental stimulation he needs to thrive.
Borscht is a higher‑energy dog, and he’d absolutely love a playmate who can keep up with his enthusiasm. When his foster siblings aren’t in the mood, he’s perfectly content entertaining himself with his toys, or digging holes — he’s a self‑starter in the fun department.
This boy is smart, eager to learn, and motivated to please. He’s already fully kennel trained and happily trots into his crate when asked, unless he’s not worn all that energy off yet, but he does settle quickly nonetheless. He loves other dogs and assumes every pup he meets is a new friend. He hasn’t lived with kids yet, but would likely do well with older children who can handle a bouncy, excited companion.
If you’re searching for a running, hiking, or adventure partner, Borscht is your guy. Because of his energy level, he’ll need a secure yard where he can run, zoom, and play to his heart’s content. He’s generally quiet, only getting vocal when he’s trying to initiate play.
Borscht would do best in a family who has husky experience and can provide him with the structure, and consistency he needs.
