🦊 Meet Ranch! 🦊
With his wild little hair and adorable fox-like face, Ranch is impossible not to fall in love with. This sweet boy recently made the journey to Canada from a high-kill shelter in California, and he’s very happy to be trading shelter life for the comforts of a cozy home and kind people.
Ranch is currently being fostered with two small children and a female dog, and he’s doing wonderfully with both. He enjoys gentle attention from the kids, gets along well with his canine companion, and is soaking up all the comforts of home life.
Because Ranch has had a bit of a rough start, he can be shy at first and startles easily with sudden movement or new situations. But underneath that cautious exterior is a very loving little guy who warms up quickly and absolutely adores pets, cuddles, and being close to his people.
One of Ranch’s favourite pastimes is hanging out by the window, keeping watch over the birds and squirrels outside like the tiny fox he resembles. He also enjoys outings and is happy to tag along, but he’s just as content to relax quietly at home once the day is done.
Ranch is still building confidence on leash and will need a patient adopter willing to help him continue learning at his own pace. He’s also not a fan of the crate and would much rather sleep close to the other dog in the home, where he feels safe and comfortable.
Despite everything he’s been through, Ranch is a gentle, quiet boy who rarely barks and is simply looking for a family of his own to help him feel safe, loved, and settled for good. He has come such a long way already, and with a little patience and a lot of love, Ranch is going to make a truly wonderful companion. ❤️
