Meet Aioli (Oli) – A Sweet Soul Looking for Her Safe Place ❤️

Aioli, or "Oli" to her foster family, is a beautiful one-year-old Terrier mix with the sweetest heart. While life hasn't always been easy for this little girl, she continues to show an incredible willingness to trust, love, and be vulnerable. Watching her confidence grow has been such a joy, and now she's ready to find a forever home where she can continue to blossom.

Oli's favourite things are the simple pleasures in life: playing fetch in the backyard, chewing on bully sticks, enjoying tasty treats (of course!), gentle affection, and she's recently discovered that belly rubs are actually pretty wonderful too. She also has an adorable habit of watching TV and enthusiastically barking at the dogs, cats, and wildlife she sees on screen, all while her little tail happily wags.

She's fully house-trained and has never had an accident in her foster home. She rides well in the car, settling down comfortably after the first ten minutes, and she's become an excellent walking companion.

In fact, this is one of her biggest accomplishments. During her first week in foster care, she didn't even want to step outside the front door and preferred staying in the safety of the backyard. Now she looks forward to her daily walks and walks beautifully on leash.

At home, Oli is incredibly loyal and forms a strong bond with her person. She follows her foster mom from room to room, happily keeping her company. She has a soft spot for slippers and borrowed clothing. They're simply comforting reminders of the person she loves most.

Like many terriers, she has a little mischievous streak. She enjoys a bit of garden "landscaping," so if you're particularly fond of your lettuce, a fence around the garden might be a wise investment!

Oli would thrive in a calm, patient home where life moves at a gentler pace. Because she's still learning that the world is a safe place, a quiet household without a lot of commotion or sudden movements would suit her best. A home without young children would likely be ideal. She seems to be more comfortable with women and may be a little nervous around men, so a patient female adopter or family willing to let her build trust at her own pace may be the best fit.

She's not quite sure how she feels about other dogs yet. On walks, she'll often freeze when she sees one and may growl out of uncertainty. With patient guidance, positive experiences, and as her confidence continues to grow, there's every reason to believe she'll make great progress. She may also be able to live with another respectful dog after slow, thoughtful introductions. Her compatibility with cats is currently unknown.

At home, Oli is generally a quiet girl. The only time she really finds her voice is when she feels the need to protect her home, making her a surprisingly fierce little guardian despite her size.

If you're looking for a loyal companion who will reward your patience with deep trust, quiet devotion, and unconditional love, Aioli could be exactly who you've been waiting for. She doesn't need a perfect home, just a gentle one where she can finally feel safe, loved, and home for good.
