Kesha 🛼
Kesha may be named after a pop star, but she's more sweetheart than diva.
This adorable little gal arrived in rescue with a serious tail injury that required surgery, leaving her with an extra-cute little nub that's still healing. She's also recently been spayed after discovering she was in the early stages of pregnancy with an unviable litter, so we're still getting to know who Kesha is when she's feeling her very best. What we do know already? She's an absolute darling.
Kesha seems to believe that every human she meets is a potential new friend. Whether it's rescue staff, vet clinic employees, or complete strangers, she's always ready to say hello with her signature smooshy face and hopeful eyes. Seriously - have you seen that face? It's the kind of face that makes you forgive absolutely everything.
While she hasn't been fully dog-tested since surgery, she appears interested in other dogs and may be the type who's a little enthusiastic when introducing herself. We suspect her social skills come from a good place, even if her excitement occasionally gets ahead of her manners. Easily coachable.
She's been a dream houseguest so far: sleeping through the night, eating well, taking her medications without complaint, and doing her business outside. We also received reports that she nearly climbed out of her kennel at the facility, which leads us to believe she may actually be part monkey.
Kesha hasn't had the easiest start in life, but she hasn't let that dim her gentle spirit or loveable smile. Beneath that velvety-soft fur and ridiculously cute face is a dog who's simply looking for love, comfort, and a family to call her own. And she's the perfect size - not too big, not too small.
And honestly? We think whoever gets to wake up to that little squishy face every day is going to be the lucky one.
