Meet Amanda!
Amanda is an amazing foster puppy and has been an absolute joy to have in our home. She is a happy, loving little girl with a wonderful personality who is always ready to make new friends. She has been one of the easiest and sweetest foster puppies I've had, and anyone who adopts her is going to be very lucky.
Great with dogs: Amanda loves playing with our resident dog and would do well with a canine companion. She would also be happy as the only dog, where she can soak up all the love and attention. She would thrive in a home that enjoys daily walks and spending time outdoors. Amanda has a medium energy level and is happiest exploring outside or relaxing in the sunshine.
Good with cats: Amanda has lived with resident cats and does not chase or bother them. Like most puppies, she is curious about their whereabouts and enjoys watching them, but she has always been gentle and respectful.
Wonderful with children: Amanda has been fantastic with my grandchildren and all of the neighbourhood kids. She loves people and happily greets everyone she meets with a wagging tail, hoping for a little attention and a few pets.
House-trained: Amanda is doing incredibly well with house training. Since coming into foster care, she has only had one accident.
Excellent on leash: Amanda has lovely leash manners and truly enjoys her neighbourhood walks. She walks beautifully and is always excited to get outside and explore.
Smart girl: Amanda already knows several basic commands, including sit, down, and lie down. She is eager to please, highly food motivated, and learns new things very quickly.
Crate trained: Amanda sleeps in her crate at night. She lets you know she'd rather stay out by giving a little howl when it's bedtime, but she settles down quickly and sleeps through the night.
Car rides: At this point in her young life, Amanda isn't a fan of car rides.
Barking: Amanda is not a big barker. She will usually only bark if someone knocks at the door or if another dog starts barking.
Amanda is affectionate, friendly, and full of puppy charm. She has a fun-loving has a free spirit. Whether she's out for a walk, playing with another dog, relaxing in the yard, or cuddling after a busy day, Amanda is simply a sweetheart.
She loves being outdoors, enjoys soaking up the sunshine, and is always ready for her next adventure. She has the perfect medium energy level—active enough to enjoy walks and playtime, but also happy to settle down and relax with her family.
Because she's still young, Amanda is at the perfect age to continue learning and growing into an incredible family companion. She is eager to please and learns quickly, making her a wonderful choice for someone looking for a puppy to continue training and building a lifelong bond with.
Amanda would thrive in almost any loving home—whether that's with another playful dog or as your one-and-only best friend. She has so much love to give and will make a loyal, devoted companion for a very lucky family.
