If you're looking for a loyal companion with a heart as big as his love for belly rubs, Lenny might just be your perfect match!
Lenny is an incredibly affectionate boy who absolutely loves cuddles, belly scratches, and spending time with his people. When he's not soaking up attention, you'll usually find him happily playing with his toys, enjoying a bully stick, or eagerly accepting treats—this handsome guy is definitely food motivated, which makes training a breeze! ❤️
Lenny has been playful and friendly with everyone he's met, including children, and he's been wonderful around other dogs. He's still learning how to share his space with cats and can become a little too excited around them, so he'll do best in a home without cats or other small pets. Squirrels and rabbits are also very interesting to him, and while he may become excited if he spots one on a walk, he's responding well to gentle redirection and quickly refocuses.
This sweet boy is fully house trained and has not had a single accident in his foster home. He's also a quiet companion who rarely barks and settles nicely both around the house and in his crate.
Lenny rides well in the car, taking just a few minutes to get comfortable before relaxing for the journey. Walks are another area where he's making wonderful progress. He can be a little hesitant at first, but his confidence and leash manners have improved tremendously in a short time, and he's continuing to blossom every day.
Lenny would love a home with a yard where he can explore, sniff, and relax between adventures. Most of all, he's looking for a family who will shower him with love, include him in their daily lives, and appreciate the gentle, affectionate dog he is.
