Hi; I’m Rosie! I’ve been told I’m the absolute sweetest dog ever, despite my humble beginnings. I’ve been loving life lately going for leisurely and sniffy walks, snuggling up to watch movies and playing with my foster dog siblings. I am housetrained and have been working on some basic commands. I’ve been pretty great at learning how to walk nicely on the leash, and I pick things up really quickly! I absolutely love a soft bed or couch to nap on and adore spending time with my humans. I’m learning how to like my crate, but that’s a skill I’m still working on.
Because I’ve never really had anything of my own, my foster family has noticed a bit of resource guarding for particularly high value treats (bully sticks!) so if my forever home involves furry siblings, I’ll need to keep working on that. But I have been loving having my foster siblings to chase and wrestle with, so hopefully my forever family can make sure I have some furry friends to spend time with! I’m not much of a barker and have been great in the car when we go for adventures - I’ve had a blast a private off leash parks with my foster family!
I don’t have a lot of experience with children, but my foster family thinks I’d make a great best friend for slightly older kiddos who can help me with my manners (I can be pretty enthusiastic about kisses!) I think I’d prefer a home without small animals, but with the proper introduction I might fall in love with the right cat…
