Meet Leroy, aka Frank the Tank! 🐾
If you’re looking for a press-and-play kind of dog, Leroy is your guy!
Leroy is the ultimate loving shadow. He’ll happily follow you around, staying close by and patiently waiting for his favorite thing: head scratches. He knows his basic commands and will happily show off his best “shake a paw” whenever given the opportunity.
Leroy is potty trained, leash trained, cuddle trained, and pretty much ready to go! He’s a quiet, easygoing guy with only two speeds: slow and light jog. Honestly, I have yet to witness anything faster, and he seems perfectly happy with that. He is an absolute dream to walk; he doesn’t pull and happily strolls right beside you. His one potty quirk? He prefers to do his business on walks rather than in the backyard.
He’s sweet, gentle, affectionate, and incredibly patient, even with a 10-month-old puppy who likes to chew on his face! He’s also wonderful with kids, and our 11- and 14-year-olds absolutely adore him. Like most rescues, he tends to prefer women but warms up to men quickly. He has shown no food aggression and is generally a very easygoing guy. He can be a little possessive of his toys when other dogs try to join in, but he’s working on sharing and making great progress!
He’s sweet, gentle, affectionate, and just an all-around good boy. Leroy isn’t looking for anything fancy - just a safe, loving home where he can relax, be cherished, and spend his days close to his people.
If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will happily stroll through life by your side, Leroy might just be your perfect match. ❤️
