Boop is a goofy, quirky, loving 1-year-old Shepherd/Husky/Lab mix weighing approximately 28.8 kg — and she is SO ready to find her forever family!
Boop is the kind of dog who brings a whole lot of personality wherever she goes. She is silly, affectionate, playful, and absolutely obsessed with her toys. Give her a toy and she will happily entertain herself — although she especially loves having another dog around to play with!
Boop is great with other dogs and LOVES to play. She can play hard, so she would do best with a confident, playful canine sibling who enjoys a good wrestling match and zoomies. She would absolutely love a home with another dog.
She has also lived around dog-savvy cats. She is interested in them and sometimes tries to convince them to play, so a cat who is comfortable setting boundaries would be the best match.
Boop has lots of young-dog energy and would thrive with an active family. Hiking, running, long walks, adventures, and exploring would be right up her alley. She has good recall, knows her name, and is eager to be involved in whatever her people are doing.
She can be a little apprehensive when strangers approach her home or enter her space, but once she gets an introduction, her true personality comes out — and she absolutely loves people. She just needs a little time to decide that you’re her new best friend. ❤️
Boop is mostly house-trained and continues to improve, with only the occasional accident. She is also excellent in her crate and settles nicely when it’s time to relax.
Boop hasn’t had much direct experience with children in her foster home, but based on her friendly and affectionate personality, she may do well with respectful kids. A proper introduction would be important.
Above all, Boop is a happy, funny, loving girl with a huge personality. She would love an active family who will include her in their adventures, give her plenty of exercise and enrichment, and ideally give her a playful dog sibling.
