Male, 3 years, Siberian Husky, 73 lbs
Hi! My name is Boomer! I’m a three-year old red Husky from California. I’ve been living with my foster mom for the last three weeks and have been learning all about Canada and the winters here. I love the snow! My foster mom says I’m just like a big teddy bear, I’m the most calm and cuddly husky she’s ever met. I love to show affection, and I can be pretty chatty, especially in the morning. We’ve been working on my leash skills, I’m very strong and like to pull, especially if I see cats or squirrels. Squirrel! I’ll need someone strong who can help me manage my high prey drive. I’ve been doing well with proper introductions to other dogs, but I need some help with my socialization skills. I would prefer a family with prior dog experience (especially one that knows huskies, we can be challenging!) and no other dogs or cats so that I can get all the attention!
