Oreo is an adorable 2-year-old lowrider who will be arriving at BARC’s on September 6 and is looking for a foster home! ❤️
This little guy was born and raised on Skid Row and has lived a life most dogs could never imagine. He has never felt grass under his paws, had the freedom to run around and do zoomies, or really had the opportunity to simply play and be a dog.
Despite everything, Oreo is incredibly friendly with people — both men and women. He loves a good back scratch and is a total couch potato at heart. 🥰
Because Oreo has spent most of his life as a solo dog, primarily on a short leash or in a crate, we don't yet know how he will do with other dogs or children. His foster will get to be part of helping us learn more about him as he discovers what life in a home can be.
Oreo's previous owner recently moved into housing and made the difficult decision to give him the opportunity for a better life.
Now it's Oreo's turn. ❤️
