Adopted
Description
Female, 5 years, pit bull X, 52 lbs
Since day 1 Snow has made herself right at home. The night I brought her home she was already running around playing with toys. She is great with all new people she meets. She may be a little shy at first, but in a couple minutes she will be giving kisses and seeking attention. Snow has been around older children and did great. She can be a bit of a rough player when she gets excited, so I would say no young children.
Snow is completely house trained, kennel trained and knows a few commands! She even will sit pretty for you! Snow is great on the leash. She responds greatly to heel and leave it. When on walks she acknowledges other people and dogs, but does not bark or pull to go see them. Snow has great recall and is very responsive to us.
Snow does well with other dogs, but prefers if they have the same level of energy as her, which is about medium. If around a dog with too much energy for her liking, she will try to correct them. She has been around small dogs while in my care as well and did great. The only thing I would say is that she can be a bit of a rough player, so a doggy friend that is medium size at least would be preferred!
Snow is very relaxed and calm at home. She loves to lounge on the couch for most of the day. She shares toys very nicely with our dog and has never shown any resource guarding with anything. Snow is very gentle taking treats and toys. She has never shown any guarding with her food towards myself or my dog as well.
She gets random bursts of energy and will have crazy little zoomies around the house. After her little burst she will proceed to go as lay back down.
Snow is an amazing dog with such a loving, goofy, and happy personality. She truly deserves the best home possible.
Snow is being fostered in Strathmore, AB.
